Packaging

Simply Free Range provides the majority of its product to you vacuum (cryovac) packaged.  This convenient and practical packaging means that you can have a selection of cuts available in your fridge at any time - no need to worry about freezing and thawing!

All meat is vacuum packed at the time of butchering, and then stored in our purpose built store room between 0-1 degrees. It is then transported in our refrigerated truck or van to your door. 

Your product will show a packed date, and from this time we recommend that you store it in the refrigerator and use with 2-3 weeks.  However, there is strong evidence to suggest that this will last much longer if stored at 0+0.5 degrees in your home. 

If you receive any product where the seal has broken (ie. 'a leaker'), this product is still fine for use, simply use this within the next 24 hours, or freeze the product immediately for later use.

Our only products that come not vacuum packed are our sausages, frozen hamburgers and anything crumbed, marinated or skewered.
